Inger Colins - Bio "Inger of Sweden" Inger grew up in northern Sweden (province of Lapland). Her family always owned Norrbottenspets as all around helpers on their farm, as well as hunting dogs. Inger became intrigued at training the dogs for different tasks, such as hunting with her father and older brother, sledding, skijoring and finding lost items in the snow. Inger went on to receive degrees in both Electrical Engineering and Fashion Design. Inger has been a breeder of Norrbottenspets in Canada for 20 years. Her breeding program is of the highest caliber, having imported 10 different blood lines. Inger has won many titles with her dogs, including six world champions and many Canadian and International Awards. She has trained her dogs to the elite levels of Search and Rescue - over 30 of her puppies have been sold for that purpose. Over the last 20 years Inger has found homes for over 300 puppies sharing her love and affection for Norrbottenspets with the world! Norrbottenspets is Sweden's National Dog!
